Ruslanas Byckovas

Ruslanas completed his architectural education training at the prestigious Vilnius Gediminas Technical University in Vilnius, Lithuania. During the period from 1996-1999 Ruslanas worked with the Lithuanian Design Fund, a nationally recognized architecture and interior design firm who published Lithuania’s first interior design magazine, ‘Interjeras’.

In 2000, Ruslanas moved to Providence to attend the RISD to further hone his skills in interior design and architecture, graduating in 2002 with a Master Degree in Interior Architecture.  During his studies, Ruslanas worked for the award winning office of Donald S. Richardson & Associates where he was the project architect on multiple high end residential and institutional buildings.

In July 2004, Ruslanas moved to Miami to join Arquitectonica where he immediately worked alongside the firm principal, Bernardo Fort-Brescia on many international mixed use, residential, hospitality and urban planning projects, including the two tower, 34 story, Le Varesine Towers in Milan, Italy; currently under construction and the Marquis condominium and hotel tower in downtown Miami.

In 2009, Ruslanas left Arquitectonica to form M-I-A, now R&B.  Since it’s formation Ruslanas has consulted for IDDI Design, an internationally award winning retail design firm, on projects in South Korea and China.  This in turn has led him to work with Dacra as a design consultant on select new retail and commercial projects in Miami’s Design District.  Ruslanas leads the focus of R&B's high end residential projects which also includes affordable, sustainable proto-typical housing projects and is currently involved in the production and development of these homes in the Miami area.
