Delray Farm, Florida

Delray Farm is an agritourism development dedicated to the promotion of sustainable farming techniques, education and events. A private events building and grow house facility work in tandem to highlight the future of sustainable farming and food consumption. Both buildings serve very different functions but are equally important to frame the growing interest in sustainable farming concepts. To highlight this discourse, a purposeful, yet simple architectural design was sought.

A Tunbridge Wells Home

Grace and Colin’s brief to Studio Bark for their award-winning Tunbridge Wells home was less of a specific wish list and more like a manifesto for modern family living, encompassing their desire for comfort, connectivity, privacy and sustainability. They wanted to achieve "a feeling of generosity" while tempering that with an understanding of what is "enough".

The House that JB Built

The daughter of legendary artist sculptor and artist JB Blunk, Mariah Nielson has committed to restoring and preserving his extraordinary legacy, the little house in the California woods where he made everything by hand, from the towering redwood entrance arch to the mismatched pottery teacups.

The house is as humble as it is extraordinary, complete with outdoor shower, the rustically chiselled cypress wood sink, the redwood sculpted arch that marks the entrance into his expressive world, and the sliding front door –like the ones he had seen as an apprentice potter in Japan, after he was drafted for the KoreanWar in 1949.
