Overview

Royal Byckovas’ latest residential interiors project defines a new 15,400 sq ft private residence in Miami Beach with a minimalist approach inspired by the principles of modern Japanese architecture.

The design is anchored by clean lines, natural materials, and a seamless living connection between interior spaces, terraces, and water features that frame both architecture and landscape. The architecture is expressed through strong horizontal planes, expansive glass façades, and shaded terraces that blur the boundary between inside and out. A lush rooftop garden and surrounding tropical landscape enrich the dialogue between natural plantings and manicured lawns, while a waterside pool terrace extends the home toward the bay, creating a continuous connection from residence to horizon.

Inside, the design emphasizes purity of line and material: warm oak floors in herringbone contrast against natural slate, while bamboo ceilings, stone walls, and textured ceramics establish an atmosphere of refinement.

Expansive family areas on the ground floor — including living, dining, bar, media room, gym, and a gallery-style garage — are conceived as fluid, flexible spaces where openness and intimacy coexist.

The second level hosts private suites, including the master and multiple guest bedrooms, each conceived as serene sanctuaries with subtle references to Japanese aesthetics of simplicity, proportion, and calm.
